Journalists and visitors are still able to leave the office - we have proof

Last week saw the team managing the press office at UC Expo at Earls Court, something we've been doing for the past five years.

We're very used to seeing throngs of people come through the doors but must admit we did expect a few less this year with economic circumstances being what they are!  But interestingly, we were proved wrong - visitor numbers were up 10% from last year's show and there were almost 40 journalists and analysts across both days proving that you can get a journalist away from their desk if you've got good content...

There was plenty of news around the show with the latest from Microsoft who were at the show demonstrating their beta of Office Communicator 2010 (aka Wave 14) posted by David Meyer at Zdnet, news from Eurodata who were announcing their single UC appliance for Microsoft OCS posted by Peter Judge at Eweek and Alex Scroxton reporting on Networking Quality according to the main players on the show floor to name but a few.

Thanks to all who attended the show and more particularly the press office where it all happens

Our next show will be Service Desk and IT Support show at Earls court on 27 - 28 April - for more information or to request a press pass, please email me.
